The Detroit Tigers

Motor City Baseball

The Detroit Tigers are a professional Major League Baseball (MLB) based out of Detroit, Michigan. Their team was established in 1894 and they are one of the oldest franchises in the league. They have won four World Series Title (in 1935, 1945, 1968 and 1984). Their home stadium is Comerica Park, which opened in 2000.

While the team has struggled in recent years, the Tigers have a loyal fanpase and a proud legacy. Some former players are part of the Hall of Fame (Ty Cobb, Al Kaline, and Alan Trammell). With a strong start to the 2025 season, excitement was at a high. Unfortunately, the season didn't go as well as fans hoped, but the energy is still there and hopefully the 2026 season will bring even more spirit alive.
